In continuation of this office notification of even number dated 19-04- 2026, it is hereby notified that, on account of closure of Red Zone in Islamabad,
litigants, lawyers, and officers/officials of the Court are likely to face considerable
difficulty in accessing the Islamabad High Court. Therefore, the Hon’ble Chief
Justice of this Court has been pleased to order that the Islamabad High Court shall
not conduct any judicial work on 21st April, 2026 (Tuesday). Consequently, the
cause list of the Court shall stand cancelled. However, all officers/officials of the
Court shall work from home and shall not leave the station without prior approval
of the competent authority.
2. The District Courts of Islamabad shall remain open and conduct judicial
work as usual.
3. This notification is for wide publicity through print and electronic media.
4. This issues with the approval of the Hon’ble Chief Justice of the Islamabad
High Court, Islamabad.
