Description:
The Hon'ble Chief Justice has been pleased to approve the following annual list of General Holidays to be observed by the Islamabad High Court, Islamabad and the District and Sessions Courts (East & West), Islamabad during the year 2025.
a) The holidays marked with as asterisk (*) arc subject to appearance of the moon. In case, the festival falls on a day other than that notified, specific instructions will be issued by the High Court and timely notice shall, when possible, be given to litigants in the event of festival not falling on the day already notified.
b) The summer vacation of the Islamabad High Court may be from 1st July to 31$t August, 2025.
c) The Islamabad High Court may observe winter vacation from 24th December, 2025 to 8th January, 2026.
d) The vacation (Summer Vacation) of the District & Sessions Court may be from 1s August to 31st August, 2025.
c) The Civil & Sessions Courts of Islamabad Capital Territory may observe winter vacation from 24th December, 2025 to 1st January 2026.
f) Cabinet Division, vide Notification No. 10/01/2022-Min-II, dated 08.11.2022, the. Prime Minister has restored the public holiday on occasion of Allama Iqbal Day i.e. 9th November in 2022.
g) Every Sunday in a week is holiday.
