The Islamabad high court celebrated the 70th independence anniversary of motherland with full zeal and pledged to be unite to safeguard the country against any threat. In this connection a graceful ceremony was held at Islamabad High court building which was chaired by Chief Justice, Muhammad Anwar khan kasi. Judges of high court, Registrar of IHC, advocate general Islamabad, District and session judges, judges of special courts, bar members, senior lawyers, media persons and a large number of children honored the event with their participation.
Chief Justice while addressing the gathering, said that it was necessary to unite under the constitution of Pakistan in the interest of nation by ensuring its supremacy. He stressed that the people needed to shun their differences and come together to secure the country's future. Chief justice hoisted the national flag following which the national anthem was recited and special prayers were offered for the prosperity, integrity and solidarity of the country and success of the long drawn struggle of kashmiris as well.
