Human Right Cell


 INTRODUCTION:
The Human Rights Cell is established in the year of 2013 on the patron of August Supreme Court of Pakistan for dealing with the application received from public at large against the violation of Human Rights by authorities of different governmental offices and private persons. Main purpose of the establishment of this cell is to provide speedy relief/advice to public at large.

 SCOPE:
The functions and the duties of Human Rights Cell is as under:

     To receive application from public at large through e.mail or by post regarding violation of Human Rights.
     To correspond with public offices from whom complaint has received and seek report regarding the contents of complaint.
     To provide speedy justice to public at large on administrative side.
     An overseas complaint cell is also established and functional to deal with the application of overseas Pakistanis, and website of the cell is available on web page of Islamabad High Court, Islamabad i.e. Click this Link to address overseas clients.
     To provide free legal aid (subject to relevant rules) to deserving applicants and forward the case of such applicant to the District Legal Empowerment Committee.
     To take on, perform and comply with the directions or any other task assigned by the Hon’ble Chief Justice and Hon’ble judges of the Court.
